Re: club car oil filter location
If it has the Subaru EFI engine, it doesn't have an oil filter.

Re: club car oil filter location
So, that’s a yes or a no on the oil filter? LOL. Seems that’s what my google search leads me to also. Some say it does and some day it doesn’t. . Can I tell by looking at the engine If it’s that Subaru engine?

Ok - it’s a Subaru ex 40 engine. Does that help?

I’m a novice. Speech therapist - not a golf cart expert. Haha. Are Subaru efi and ex40 synonymous?

Re: club car oil filter location
Yes, In a way.
The EX40 is used on many different types of power equipment, mowers, generators, pressure washers, etc. It usually has carburetor, as do the majority of other small engines. Club Car worked with Subaru to develop their own EFI system for Club Car carts. It is not the only implementation of an EFI system on the EX40. But the EFI version of the EX40 is the only Subaru engine offered by Club Car. So Subaru, EFI, and EX40, are synonymous when relating to Club car. Hope that helps. |
