Default priming fuel on 83 G1

How do you prime a fuel pump on a G-1 golf cart that ran out of gas, cannot get gas pumping.

I just finished a engine rebuild and all I done was take off the fuel line from the top of the tank and got a squeeze bottle and put gas down into the gas line till it was full. I then hooked the line back to tank spilled a bit but not a big deal, then started it right up. Hope that helps but I am sure there could be a easier way and I am sure someone on BGW will tell you. good luck.

I take the line off the carb, the cap off the tank & put air to it you'll notice right away gas flowing from the hose. just don't put very much pressure in the tank.

My tank has a small rubber vent cap on top, I pulled it out and stuck a clean gas line in the hole and blew in it till gas came out the fuel pump supply nipple
