From the story I got, it was the seller the gun was originally his grandfathers who purchased it new in his teens. This guy did not hunt or shoot.......which was good for me!! But I too think it has a lot of stories to tell.....other than occasionally saying "clean me!!"

Got to the range today. This was only at 25 yards shooting a 115gr. lead RNFP over 2.2gr. of Trail Boss powder. It's a shooter!!!

Sweet shooting old rifle. Great score. I see a bunch of bunnies in its future. Too bad those old guns can't talk. Probably has some good stories in it.
