Default 2013 rxv driving me nuts!

So the handheld shows stall detected. I bought a new speed sensor and put it in today. Now it shows emergency brake test failed. Switch back to old speed sensor and stall detected but nothing about the brake. Could it be that the old speed sensor wasn’t picking up that the brake isn’t holding? Electrically the brake tests good, but I’ve ordered another one just for good measure. With the old speed sensor I can get the cart the creep a little before I get the stall error. With the new speed sensor, it won’t make it through the start up sequence due to the brake. Any ideas?

Well it really seems like it’s a brake problem. I swapped back to the new speed sensor and started playing with the handheld. There’s an option in there to skip the emergency brake check at start up. So I did that and now the cart seems to run great. I have t taken it for a test ride yet because I need some friction modifier to add to the new rear diff oil. Had to change out the old as it was full of swimming pool water.

Yep, might work "perfectly" for now, until the same problems show up again, then questions will be "what's wrong", and the diagnosis will be impossible when we are dealing with "modded software", which the details wont be included. This is the problem with "giving up the details" how to mod a rxv.

I totally understand why bob quit taking "mail-in" controller jobs.

Yeah I get that. My intention is to install the new brake when it gets here in a day or 2 and change the settings back so that I can hopefully track down the actual problem.
