Cushman Golfster 735 rebuild
OK, here's the story, first time poster, first time golf cart owner, first time restorer. I finally found a Cushman Golfster 735 for sale, in decent shape, and am buying it in order to completely restore it to showroom condition. I have no clue what I am getting myself into. I am capable at electrical work, minor welding, tinkering with engines, ect, just not sure how big of a project I bit into yet. From the ad, the cart runs. So, it will probably be mostly cosmetic work for the first part, hopefully.
So, here's my questions, what issues should I look for with these carts? Where to find parts? How difficult of a job am I looking at? Of course, I will post pictures as soon as the cart gets to me, and document every step of the rebuild, as I get it back to better than show room condition. |
