Thumbs up RXV Danaher to Curtis Conversion Instructions

Before I upgraded my RXV controller to the 350 amp Curtis, I searched everywhere for the install / conversion instructions just so I could see what i was getting in to. I was unsuccessful in finding them anywhere on the web so I figured I would post them on here now that I have done the conversion.

If you are going to do the conversion make a note that on page 2, step 16, they show the resistor wire being ran on to the end / stud of the resistor. IT IS WRONG. I am not sure why they show it connecting up like this, but it should be hooked to the end of the coil on the tab, just like the other end.

The install was pretty easy, the hardest parts was getting to the bolts in the floor panel holding the old controller in place. If anyone has any questions let me know. Or if anyone knows a better place for the PDF feel free to move it.

To be clear this is EZ-Go Part # 750566PKG
4 - 12v Batteries

I am in the process of installing this Curtis controller in my 2011 RXV cart. Can someone tell me what wires do the orange and white wires splice into on the old harness.

I can tell you that the instructions were not very clear, and when I hooked it up the way I could best decipher it....It wouldn't run, so I figured if something was burnt up it had already happened. Then I just started tapping and splicing until I got it to run... I will tell you this, if you do any off-roading with it, hell even curb hoping, you are going to LOVE this mod. It's like a whole 'nother cart!!!

Okay, so I just checked my cart. The orange wire runs in front of the battery pack and in to the OLD harness plug. Cut it and butt splice the pigtail from the NEW harness to it. As for the white wire you want to follow the wire from the motor brake that runs up the side of the battery pack and instead of cutting and eliminating any wires here, there should have been a 3-wire tap in your kit. You are going to cut the motor wire and insert both ends in to this tap along with the pigtail from the harness crimp it and you should be good to go. Everything else should be plug and play. Let me know if you need clarification in any of these areas.

Ok, thanks for the info, let me tell what I have done. The 4 wire clip going to the motor is the orange wire I cut and spliced to the new harness. The other end going to the front of the cart I folded back and taped. The white wire I cut was a 2 clip wire going to the motor brake. I put all three of those wires together.

That sounds correct. What do you have left before testing?
