Fire, smoke and other stupidity
I have a 1986 CC with the 5 solenoids and coils.
While doing a cable upgrade, I had a major short circuit. I disconnected the S1(bottom cable on the motor) from the F/R switch. I let the cable (still connected to the motor) touch the cable on the F/R switch that goes to the #1 batt. (+) term. Many sparks and some smoke later , the cart won't move.. All 5 solenoids click in forward and reverse.      |
