Citicar 36volt or 48volt?
new here! hope I can get some answers. I just bought a 1974 citicar, came with everything but the batteries, the guy said its a 48 volts. I purchased 8-6volt batteries(the motor wasnt running)so when I remove it, I saw its a 36v motor, got it to run(needed work), so can I just hook it back up and with only 6-6volt batteries or does the wiring have to be changed or do I have to find a 48 volt motor?
If I need to find a 48volt motor does anyone no where to get one or what other motors will work? thanks so much, I just want to be able to drive this thing! |
