16 hp Vanguard
I have aquired a 16 hp Vanguard that is locked up from sitting,model# 303447,it's a 1999.
What I need to know is if a .020 or 20 over rebuild kit will be safe as far as boring the block.They cost the same for standard,10 over or 20 over,20 over will give me 576cc's.I have it soaking right now but will rebuild it even if it comes lose.thanks,hookm  |

Never bored one 20, but if they make the kit it must give you enough cylinder thickness left to be safe.........PS, I get 488 ci....bore 2.88, stroke 2.60.
Why not go 10 and leave a little just in case? |
