oil sensor
hey guys i have a question on my 16hp vanguard v-twin
on the "oil sensor" can i just run a wire to my low oil light on my Yamaha G16 ? to warn me if it gets low or how to set it up so i no ? |

On the clones it grounds the ignition and kills it. Seems like you could run 12v to the light and hook the sensor to the other side to activate the light, if it works that way.

You are correct sho305, at least that's the way every one I have messed with worked, grounds the ignition, that's why if you have trouble with one that wont run or shuts down and you suspect a faulty low oil shutdown sensor, just unplug it.
