Default 2002 DS Front Suspension Damage

13 year old + wet grass + tree = front, driver-side suspension damage on our 2002 DS

I think we escaped with minimal damage, but wanted to get some input here as a second pair eyes. I'm ignoring the cosmetic damage for now.

I think this is the main, and only, contributor to the front driver side tire being pushed back. Where the leaf spring connects to the frame.

The steering link appears straight and I can tell that it hit the frame during the compression, before the spring back.

Back-side angle of the suspension components.

Side angle of the driver-side suspension.

I think you'll agree the wheel is toast. The tire seal broke on impact and went flat. The wheel is bent and scrubs the leaf spring at the spindle connection.

Thoughts?

Upon further inspection:
The driver side A plate control arm mount points appear to be skewed.

Back side mount point:

Seems like I can bend the mount points back in place. Thoughts?

loosen those bolts and pound it back....usually, the shock tower bends pretty easy but you didn't have a good pic of it....that rim will might even pound back , but a tire shop can press it back and set the bead....then see if it lines up or pulls to one side...that's where I would (and have) start....my teenage demon spawn and his minions have done several numbers on mine....

I did attempt to reset the leaf spring and then found more damage (newly attached images on original post). Based on your experience, I'll continue with my first idea of just start beating things back into place.

I don't think the 2002 Club Car DS stock design included European curves in the A plate control arm.
