Default How fast will my 23hp Vanguard Ezgo Go

I have a 23 hp Vanguard. It has a cam,rev kit, offset key. The cart is a stretched TXT. It now has the workhorse 2 bed on it. I am running 25' tires. Gear ratio unknown. I don't have a rollcage on it yet and am afraid to go full speed. Thanks,Ted

You aint a sh##tin it's cold. It is supposed to be 25 below with the windchill for the next two days.On a 30 degree day that's a heat wave. We don't even wear coats just hoodies like in the pic. 80 degrees... hell I would be like an old dog I would just lay there and pant. LOL! Keep up the good work and I want more pics.

Nice build Ted! Keep those pic's coming. What are you worried about? Smash the "go pedal" and if it's to fast.....hit the "whoa" pedal. You ,unlike many of us have 4 wheel brakes. You should be glad you don't have the "pucker" factor us 2 wheel brake, big block guy's have! Later Dave

Smallblock, I have Disc brakes in the front and hyd. drum brakes in the rear. They are off an Ezgo industrial 6 pass. limo. Bolt pattern 5 on 4 1/2. it still scares me!! Ted

Ted, I like your cart!! I have a workhorse to but not stretched like yours. I would love to take a look at your cart some day and see what you've done to it. I want to put an A-arm front end on it one day and front disc brakes. I like to use mine for Havasu and hunting. I know Scotty and I would like to get a few guys or gals that live in So Cal together and go for a trail ride somewhere.

Jimbo, It is strang I am getting a post from you. I was looking at your cart build this morning. I was going to ask you how you liked your 18hp Vanguard and what speed you get out of it. My primary cart is a stretched TXT with a Workhorse Sport 2 bed on it and my other stretched cart is a Workhorse 350. I am thinking about a Vanguard 18hp for my workhorse and have been talking to Tom at www.cartpartsplus about it.
It would be great if you would like to come by and check out my carts. You are just up the hill from me. (Highland,CA just off the 210 frwy. at Baseline or 5th st. Give me a call, Ted 909 725-4173
