Re: 1996 Cc...?
they did them up to like 03 but if you have a 48 volt you have most likley have a controller but if you have a 36V you most likley have resistor cart, look under your cart behind the batteries if you have some spring looking things you have a resistor or count how many water fill holes on top of the battery 3 fill holes 36 volt 4 fill holes 48 volt

Re: 1996 Cc...?
1996 48 volt cart make sure you change the controller as the stock ones are crappy, new motor good idea if this is going to be a hunting buggy i suggest you go with the D&D stealth stalker motor than just upgrade everything else to heavy duty put a 6 inch lift on it and swap out all 6 gage cables to 4 gage i mean all cables not just battery cables............................................ .

Re: 1996 Cc...?
ok well now the guy is saying that its a 94 36 volt, that mean its a resistor? and if it is a resistor could i just change everything out and make it work with a controller? i mean since i will be putting an aftermarket controller on it anyways

Re: 1996 Cc...?
well a 94 could still be a controller cart look for a box about 4inches by 8 inches by about 3 inches high if its a resistor cart you,ll see the coils behind the batteries if no coils its a controller.......to swap from resistor to controller isn,t cheap so if it is a resistor cart you might want to think about selling it and putting money towards a controller cart.............check the stickies up top there should be diagrams that will show you the difference for what to look for.......good luck and enjoy........................................
