Re: Lowered Club Car project under way
Hello cart lovers!
Back with an update. I went to Autozone and bought the 3 inch lowering block kit they had for around $32.00 which consiquently nobody at the store knew they even stocked them until I found a box on a bottom shelf, even after the manager said they dont carry such an item. Anyway, got home, threw them on and pretty much got the look I was going for. Now I have to figure out the brake cable extentions and add some new shocks. Anybody with info and pics on either the shocks and/or cable that would like to share them would be very helpful. Here are after and before pics. Thanks |

Re: Lowered Club Car project under way
Hello fellow cart lovers!! Here's an update on what I so affectionately call "Project Slams Club".
Went to Wal-Mart today to get some RV antifreeze for the hauler and right across from the antifreeze was the front tires I had envisioned for the cart. Looked closer, found they were the size I needed and were reasonably priced so they were mine. Got them home put them against the stock tires and they were 2 inches smaller. Perfect!! Slapped them on and BOOM! Gave it the look I wanted. Here's where I need another opinion. They're like a belly button, everybody has one. Take a look at the pics. Do I leave them as they are (sunk under the cowl) or space them out a bit? I have zero clearance issues right now and I think I can go another inch or inch and a half and still be ok. What do you all think? Thanks |
