Well I pulled the plug on a motor. I was gunna get a snowmobile engine, but finding anything of value was throwing caution into the wind. So since I have an couple of year old Ezgo 4 cycle clutch just laying around, and planned on not using reverse anyways. I went and got a 16hp clone and clutch converter from CPP, along with new belts. Paint I'm still on the fence of what exactly I wanna do. I saw the bodyshop at work turn out a jet boat today, same color orange thats on my seats, and it looked crazy cool. I do got to get going on this build, summer is coming up quick.

Well been doing some work to the cart this last week.

Crank cut and mounted

Mounted spinning the rear axle backwards on the mounts

Welded up

Cleaned up the frame and por15 the whole thing.

This build is taking longer then I thought it would since I decided to low rider it. The Marathon unlifted really doesn't have a lot of room for a big motor. So putting the axle back allowed me room. Everything is squared up in the rear end, I just have to make some brake cable extensions. I will be using the stock intake (air filter) and Muffler in their current placement which is well behind the seat. This weekend is finish the body paint work... I will have to bring the big camera to work to capture that part...

I was hoping to get this painted this weekend. But I quickly found out how many dents, dings, and other imperfections that are on this metal body. No wonder they went to plastic bodies.

Hopefully primer on tomorrow:

Worked some more on the cart:

The seat backs were off by a bit so I had to modify.

Course it looks dumb with the stock steering wheel, so gunna mod this one to work:
Even has the electronic power steering on it..

It's kinda funny, had my buddy who does show cars over tonight. That rear right fender has been giving me fits on getting it straight and flat. Couple of bangs with the body hammer he had it totally straight. I had been fighting it for 2 days trying to get it acceptable. Almost all the bondo shaved off with his magic. Course I felt a bit indebted to this to which I asked how I could repay him. He said for all the electrical nightmares I have fixed in minutes he had. Good to know people...
