I agree Ruredy. 40 mph is pretty quick in a cart, and unless you've got some really good suspension, it can all go horribly wrong just as quickly. My cart almost bounced me out on my a$$ at the dunes one time when I was going too fast and hit a big bump. Another time I sent Doodle Bug flying.

Wow NONO must have brainwashed you too. To be honest that old tractor is the best Ford Ive seen yet. Its sat for years at time and started right up. Wish they still made them like that. I guess thats what Chevy is for.

Boo
Ive had the sparky up to 41mph with some more room to go if i let her get up to speed.
But i soo have to agree with Azboo.. when your over the 40mph barrier, things can get squirrely very VERY VERY quickly!.. I took my friend for a spin in the cart the day after i took her up to +40 speeds, and i kinda accidentaly locked the brake in.. and we were on 2 wheels headin right for the ditch.
I had to get new seat covers after that fun escapade, luckly i was able to do some stunt man manuvers to avoid major damage. I wish i had a vid of me zippin in the +40 range. but im scared to go to the limit of the cart. with the big rims, its high off the ground. I wont be doin it agian, untill i lower the battery rack, install a front hydro rotor and put in some rear axle stabizers that will help with the springs flexin when the brakes are applied hard. But yea it was alot of fun.. i now recall the day i made my friend crap his pants in frear! mee too

I really have'nt done any mods cause I drive mine everywhere. As long as I'm concidered a SMV with the triangle in the back...I don't get harassed by the law.I've driven it to the stores several time an those friendly officers in Issaquah just wave at me.I still move out around 25mph.Thats fast enough for me.
