Im not sure on MPH but my G16 will easily keep up with the 69 Ford tractor...

My EZGO/Yamaha/Kawasaki, will top out at 50MPH, it has a 433 Yamaha snowmobile engine

Most vtwin modded carts run around 40mph give or take a little depending on tire size, that is unless you go with high speed gears then you can gain another 6mph or so. I will say that when you get up around 40 on a cart, seat belts and roll cages start looking like a great idea.
My green cart runs around 40mph, I get the strangest looks from people in cars when i'm keeping up with them while driving. My other stock carts top out near 25mph. Its pretty predictable what speeds you can get out of these carts, it mostly depends on how fast you spin the engine if your running a cart rear end.
