Plan on using those up front. Think the two angled ones will be for show and I'll install the real ones under straight up. Got the rear end and steering pulled today.

Actual progress happened today. Got the entire flat section of frame tacked up. Tomorrow we'll do the steps and fab up some gussets and brackets. Also got the wheels and tires mounted up today. Even with spacers I'm going to have to cut the body more than I thought. Oh well it's just fiberglass.

A little more work done today. My chop saw decided to wear out today so I didn't get as much done but I'm still happy.

This is great! You need to find a spent 6-71 blower case to use on the front of this thing! Just a pollished up placebo for grins. I love the originality.
Thinking "inside the box" is boring. Don't go there! |

Well... Good news(kinda) and bad news. My father in law wrecked the cart in my avatar. Everyone is fine except the cart. He hit a steel pole with the right front at WOT. Broke my body, tore up the suspension, warped the chassis and cracked a bunch of welds. It will take about $300 in parts, a ton of time fixing the chassis. Not to mention I can't afford to replace that paint job. So here's the " good news ". Seeing as how this cart is a 36V to 48V conversion with a little motor work it hauls the mail. I'm going to try to swap out the passenger side short axle and tube for a longer drivers side to widen the axle to get my tires outside the cart with little to no body work. I figure that with the tall skinny tires I'm going to run it should lay a heater no problem and top out around 30ish. Thoughts?

I love where this is going! seeing you mocked up the frame, I thought you were gonna use it as the air tank?

I was but I don't think it's worth all the extra work. I found a 1.5 gallon that will fit behind the dash for $20

yeah I tried to use the frame on a Honda Ruckus as its airtank and unless its tig welded theres always pinholes. I ended up giving up on it and finding a super small tank to fit it.
