That's going to be really cool. You have raised the bar and I hope to see you finish this one.

I'd like to do something like this with a gas engine cart.

Minor update. Tires and two wheels came in! Finished up mock up until a few little parts come in. Took the top down another inch and can still fit. Total height to top of roof will be around 33-34". So if all parts show up we're going to start the chassis Saturday. Here's a pic with the tires, new top height and the front mock up.

Could be super cool! There have been a few others over the years, with varying degrees of success. Google it sometime & you will find them.

Subscribed. This will be a cool build. Its great to see the mind creating a vision and the hands build it.

Never cared for "Rat Ride Cars", but this is way cool. My only concern would be keeping the lead plates covered with water/acid with those 2 batteries angled like that. to an inovator with a Vision!

I'm thinking of drilling vents on the top corners of the two angled batteries. Or hollowing out two batteries and using them for looks and mounting the real ones inside the "engine".

While we're on the subject of batteries I'm going to have room behind the seat for 3 more batteries so looks like a 48v conversation will be in order.
