Default 99 EZGO Series.. Goes fast in reverse.. nothing in forward

Hey Guys.. I am at a loss.. I replaced cables. new f/r switch, new solenoid.. The 99 Ezgo is very fast in reverse.. But doesnt do anything in forward. I jacked the rearend up off the ground and the tires spun fast in forward.. What would cause strong torque in reverse but very weak in forward... Please Help..

Make sure all the lugs on your FNR switch are tight.

Sounds like the rotating cam in the F/R switch assembly is no longer rotating fully into the mechanical stop in the F position, or the center nut got loosened while changing cables.

For a series, I'd suspect the FNR. The controller is clueless which direction you go UNLESS, the 1/2 speed circuit is messed up.

For the FNR, I'd check the center nut. If any of the studs were loose, it would cause problems in F and R.
