Default Lifted cart with top fitting in garage

I am wanting to get the Jakes ifs setup with at least 27in tires but I think after I do that the cart will not fit in the garage with the top on it. I love my top so taking it off is not a option.
I saw xt had a neat setup on one of his carts to lower the top but the way my top is mounted that wont work.
Anyone have this problem and what did ya do?
Thanks

Here is a poor picture and a cruddy illustration of the rear supports on how it is mounted lol. Let me know if you get the idea.

The front & rear looks easy enough to slide the top 6 inches up and down. I'll draw it up for you if you weld or have a welder buddy.

I have a welder but I am a rookie welder. I think I am good though. Does that count?

On the other post here someplace the guy made sections at the top that flip down to drop the top.

I was think along the lines of telescoping support struts in front. How many inches are you going to need to lower it to get in easy....

I chopped 3" out of mine last winter. I figured the best place was in the middle on the front, and just 3" off the top of the back. For the 3" section in front, I drilled 2 holes near the end of each section, cut a piece of steel for the inside, then plug welded it, and then tried to weld the crack between the two (some worked, some burnt thru a bit).

In the end, my rookie welding seemed to do the job. I was able to load tons of gear in the roof rack, even a surf board on top. But it didn't survive my drunk buddy booze cruisin the cart down a grassy hill & rolling it up on the side. After we got done laughin our buts off, we tipped it back on the tires. The only damage to the cart was the welded windshield frame.

Im not sure how much I will need to drop it. Im thinking at least 5 inches but could be wrong. Does anyone else park in a regular garage with a big setup?

Yeah boke, I like the big tires
