Default remove neutral switch on back of F/N/R

What are the issues with removing the neutral lockout switch on the back of the F/N/R switch? Other than the engine being able to fire up while in neutral???? Can I just solder the wires together??

Not alot of info to respond to so I don't know if you know you can start the cart in neutral.
You just push in and rotate the yellowish cam on the back of the shift lever 180 degrees and run it in neutral.
Kinda used as a safety/maintenance lockout.
Prevents it being able to start in neutral and accidentally get knocked into gear if you remove or bypass it.

Well I broke it when I was taking everything apart. So instead of getting a new one, I thought do I really even need it?? So that brought on the question

You can do it the Ezgo works that way.... You will be bypassing a saftey device so you will have to be careful running it in neutral. It is quite easy to accidently bump the cart into gear while it is running....
