Default i am at a loss here please help with the parcar

was just crusing the yard today.when the (83)parcar just died(as if it were out of gas)checked tank had plenty of fuel.but the clear fuel filter only had a little fuel in it.i got it towed back to the shop.dumped some fuel down the carb.it fired up for a second(but this is always how i start it. it usually works and stays running)go have lunch and get back to the issue, but now the motor turns over real slow.not fast enough to start it.the battery is brand new and test good.i am at a loss also what is the correct fuel mixture?is it 65:1?.thanks db

Hey, Sorry you are having troubles, Hmm, not saying that this has much to do with your problem but I think your mixture is a little to lean.. I would run mine at at least 50:1.. But then again I dont really know your specs.. just to prevent future problems....

I would take off the lines, and blow them out/clean them.. Tried that?
