I should know by now!
I'm a little confused as to what a resistor cart is or a non. res. I do not have any coils, nor do I know if I have a v-glide or pot box. I have not bought a manual yet because I feel it is sorta like pulling over to ask for directions...this I really cannot do! I ask you my friends of the forum to edumacate me! BTW I have a 95 CCDS 48v. Thank You.

Re: I should know by now!
A resistor cart will have a series of coils behind the batteries. These coils have different amount of resistance to limit current to the motor. Very inefficient. It uses the same amount of power wide open as it does at low throttle. At low throttle the coils will produce heat as a by product

I dont think that it would it just activates the power then your v-glide gives you your pedal speed!!! not 100% sure but I bet Roady knows for sure!!!
