Default Disconnect batteries for towing?

I'm loading up the golf cart tonight into the bed of my pickup. Should I disconnect the batteries for the ride for any reason or just leave it? Thanks.

I can't think of any reason they need to be disconnected for hauling.

Thanks, I couldn't either, but just figured I'd ask

Haul mine in truck all the time.just puttowswitch in tow after I drive it up ramps but then again always have switch to tow unless I’m useing it.
Hauling is no different then it sitting in garage not being used in my opinion.
Strap her in good😊

I remember a client telling me his new controller was acting bonkers after he hauled the cart. Just drove it up and strapped it in. Then after a 3 hour drive unloaded a completely bonkers cart

Turns out he hauled a TXT through hurricane force rains for 3 hours saturating the ITS and pedal box... yeah all he did was haul it
