Are these charging fuses?
Hello,
Removing my old battery pack and rewiring with a lithium upgrade. I’m going to be using some nice 4 prong bus bars to make the connections from the lithium pack to the rest of the cart nice. I noticed I have two fuses, I think, one on the positive terminal and one on the negative terminal. Are these charging fuses ? Or are these something I should be moving over as well? If I need to keep them, then if you could tell me the proper in line placement of what they would need to be protecting. I attached pictures of both, thank you |

Re: Are these charging fuses?
The fuse in the first picture is the charging fuse.
The 400A fuse in the second picture is for the drive system (Controller, motor, etc.). I don't know what size fuse is needed for charging a lithium battery pack, or where it would be located. I suspect the 400A fuse is too many amps to protect a lithium system. You'll probably get more knowledgeable answers in the Lithium EZGO sub-forum. |

Re: Are these charging fuses?
I've got one of that fuses together with an new Alltrax controller. Alltrax schematics was showing it to be installed on positive (or negative?) side of battery pack to protect the controller.
