I can literally watch the gauge drop as I drive, since the gauge displays both a bar graph, and shows percentage. Based on how fast it’s dropping I’m thinking I’ll get 30 miles

I installed a 150 pack in my 2013 precedent with the battery gauge wired to the dash. I have the same issue with the percentage dropping rapidly. But mine goes from 100 percent to 0 in just 10 miles but the cart keeps going. I have never ran it for more than 10-15 miles after hitting 0 but I was expecting 40-50 mile range.

It sounds like your SOC meter needs to be calibrated to 100% after a full charge. There is no way you should be able to run it if it actually hits zero %.

If you have the round type SOC meter and shunt, I think you just hold down the center button for 5 seconds or so to recalibrate it.

At 100%, you should also see 150Ah on the same meter, and somewhere around 53.6 volts when the charge settles down a while after the charger shuts off. Check with a vom an hour or so after charging.

This is very generic information and yours may be a bit different. Be careful not to run the battery much below 15% as it could be damaged.
