![]() I'll attach pics. Having trouble mounting. If I mount with B+, B- down then the harness won't plug in. Mounted this way (in pics) the whole assembly (whatever that plate is called) won't go back into place. Before I go cutting I thought I'd ask for suggestions. 2013 Precedent, Excel

![]() Look at some of the other install pics, some are mounted horizontally and did away with the OBC. Others who have done this install will chime in soon.

![]() Mounting problem solved (for now)
My new problem is the obc stud. The package I bought from parts unlimited has cables, controller, and obc stud. It seems like the protected part of the bolt is too wide. When it is tightened on one side I cannot tighten on the other. |

![]() I may be wrong and hopefully someone will chime in here soon, but the part of the stud that goes thru the OBC does not need to be covered. Also the nut near the hole of the OBC only need to be finger tight. Cables need to be tightened between first and second nut. Four nuts total. BTW, what size motor are you running, stock or modified, tires?

![]() I understand the bolts against the obc shouldn't be really tight but should I have that much play?

![]() Play is ok as long as your cable connections to the stud are tight.
