Default Rxv conversion to lithium evolution battery

Hi does anybody know what is involved in swapping a evolution 48 volt lithium battery pack into my 2013 rxv ? I have the battery pack and charger ..

I don't have an RXV, but all I had to do was replace the 8 batterys with the pack and hook it up and go. If the Eco has the reducer already in it, you will need to hook lights, etc to it.....does it not have instructions with the pack?

I had to modify my tray to fit just the one pack. My tray had the metal dividers. Other than that it was pretty simple. I had to cut one wire off the charging port due to I went with the on board charger instead.

I picked up three 48v batteries from allied batteries. They work fine.

Thanks guys , but I have a single 48 volt battery pack and it has a Bms (battery management system ) built in , i have the charger that goes with the battery and the charging port and cord , my question is will my Curtis controller know when to turn on the charger and shut off ?

Controller doesn't control charger. Charger does it's own thing. When battery gets low, plug in charger until it shuts off. Charger "talks" to BMS and "knows" what to do.
