Rear flip down seat - seat back bracket issue

I bought a rear flip down seat. Installed it. Works great. Problem is the bracket that holds both the rear seat back and the front seat back, on the front seat back it is made for the original OEM seat back with the plastic mold. I have an aftermarket seat back and it is flat. See picture. Any suggestions?

It appears if you want to use that mount bracket with that seat back, you will need to heat and straighten the bottom tabs. Then carefully measure the mounting holes in the seatback and transfer those dimensions to the bracket.

Drill the holes in the bracket larger than needed, probably 3/8", and use screws, flat washers and lock washers to fasten it.
