Dead Yamaha YDRE
Cart solenoid clicks and releases when powered up. Voltage measured on large post of solenoid measures 48.9 volts on positive terminal. measures 9 volts on negative terminal. Solenoid will not activate when accelerator is engaged. voltages read the same. Small posts on solenoid measure 48.4 volts. Also motor tests good with ohmn meter. Fuses are good. Also placed new batteries.
My guess is controller. Am I right? |

Re: Dead Yamaha YDRE
If you are saying that, with solenoid energized, the voltage on the controller side of the solenoid is 9V, then your solenoid is bad.
You said new batteries, but those are at 60% at 48.9V. Time for a recharge. |
