Ok Finally!!! Got back out there, got a question, the solenoid and reversing switch. Can I lay them down 90 degrees for mounting ? I think they mechanical so does it matter ?

I'd like to move them back towards the motor still centered but layed over so I can put a cover them and use the space for storage.

Will upload some new pics shortly...

Some New pics.

I moved the controller back, and I want to make a false floor where the cardboard is. If I can move the solenoid and switch towards the back and lay them down I can make the floor lower...

Rear mounted Battery, The tray is not welded so if it turns out to be a terrible idea I can move it :)

Front shocks, I did the 4" jakes lift versus the more typical 6". The stock shock had almost no travel, Not sure why there where 2 bump stops but I removed one so will see how that works when we get it rolling....

Looked at wheels at Harbor Freight today as well to mount on the shackles as a wheelie bar :) Just in case my evil plan actually works :)

Jakes lift are good and strong but the rubber [marshmallow?] bushings suck. Went through 2 sets in less than 4 years. Got fed up and made some out of 932 bronze. Installed zerks and no more problems and man the steering response is tight. Something to consider while your cart is still apart.

Ok just did the 1st test ride and it went in forward and reverse on the jack stands, got it outside and i got 30' and it died....

no clicks and no lights on the controller...

did the walk of shame and pushed it back to the garage....

cleaned all the contacts on the solenoid...

pulled out the multimeter and started checking....

solenoid has 52v on both sides.. so it's getting 52 at b+ on the controller, I checked..

pedal feeds 0-5v to J5 on the controller

f&r switch, I jumped the center connection to both sides and nada, no clicks...

I think that leaves me with SW202.... ?

How can I test this ?

Thanks

Woohoo it runs............ and that's where it died :) You ain't a redneck till you take a test ride with a 5 gallon bucket for seat.. or perhaps a milk crate :)
