Re: Vc 460
I had to take the atv cover off my cart the wind was blowing 40mph+ for two days straight here and near blew it off. At 22F I was not interested in riding around lol. Still no snow here that big storm went south of us, just a dusting here. But I know if I pump the gas some it will fire up, pumper carbs are nice for that. The original and clone yes I always had to feather it 0-25% throttle to get it to start the best. This CV has an enrichener I hooked up to power but it still needs pumping to make it go when winter temps out. It will start at idle if its 50 or more.

Re: Vc 460
Just watched the carsandcameras boys start on a 420 hemi build for a Golf Cart ! ? Many of their procedures are questionable but the ARC rod with its ported oil scraper makes it easy to identify. It also looks like they used the stock push rods with the double valve springs. They are using a billet flywheel as well. They also removed the balance bearings as they are not planning on using it. They are using a stage 2 kit with these parts from gopowersports. All I can say on this build is to stay tuned as my favorite VIs continue. We may see what not to do in a golf cart.

Looks like our little island is going to dodge the bullet on this one. BUT some times the the weather forecast are FOS. Stay tuned.Guessing your area might not be so lucky. Stay Safe. P.S. I did test fire the generators before the last storm just in case.

Re: Vc 460
We got maybe 4" overnight, have to go clean the drive. Not sure I have time to get the cart out in it, but would be a nice cold snowy ride as the snow is fine and blows around easily. That means a lot of it ends up in your face lol. This is about the first time the grass has been fully covered with snow everywhere this season. Now temps supposed to drop to single digits.
