84 Marathon Flipping Rear End

Can the rear end on a 84 marathon be flipped? I am trying to figure out how I am going to run my sled motor in this cart with the side to side rear end (not front to back). I can match it up, but it would be a super fast cart going backwards.

Are there any front to back rear ends that would bolt right on?

Or, can the rear diff be reworked so that by turning it clock wise it turns the axles to the wheel moves forward and counter clockwise is reverse?

I know you can put different rears in the carts, what i'm not sure of is if it's a bolt in deal or not and yes, if you flip the rear it will turn the tires in the other direction. maybe kinda funny with the fill/check thing but it can be made to work.

Now I am going to have to figure out how to mount it. Maybe I will grind the mounts off the old axle and weld them on to this. Wonder if anyone would buy my old rear end without mounts....

I wonder if I could find someone to fabricate the mounts for me.
