1998 G16 what to look for?
I'm looking at buying a 1998 G16. From the photos it looks clean. What do I need to look for? Is this a good cart?
Thanks! |

Very reliable cart look for rust on main frame and verify oil in it before you crank it otherwise smooth running

I looked a ten of them that came off a golf corse. Some had roted put battery box. All the batteries were dead. I found the that looked the best got it running. Had new tierod in it new starter in it. I pulled the back cover check frame. I check air box. I drove it tested brakes. The tires were junk on most.

Thank you. What do you think an average price is for a clean one?

Re: 1998 G16 what to look for?
Check the rear diff/transaxle for cracks, from schmucks hitting it. I have 1998 G16 that I bought for 600 bucks from a state auction, It was a blind auction and it didn't run. I got it running the engines are pretty **** good, and simple/easy to work on. Later on I noticed a HUGE crack in the diff, I am in the process of getting it welded now.
