Painting the cart?
1985 gas G1 needs a paint job. Have heard about people using herculiner, or even a paint made by plastidip (the company that makes a rubberized paint that you can dip the handles of your tools into). I want something that will be low maintenance, yet durable, and not look too bad! Any suggestions? Pics? Thanks!

Re: Painting the cart?
Some guys have prepped and painted their buggies just like you would a show car, and they look fabulous. Some guys have used truck bed liner or rubberized spray undercoating for a bulletproof coating. Others have used rattle-can paint with good results. It depends on what you want for results and how much time and money you want to put into it. The buggy in my avatar was done with Rustoleum spray can paint. Check out the Members Rides section for some ideas.

Re: Painting the cart?
I clear coated one like a car, it was a fair amount of work taking all the panels off and preparing them but it held up well. I should do mine but it is still white. I'd rather put a big block in it lol.

Re: Painting the cart?
They are lawn tractor seats. They had cracks in the seat covers so I got them real cheap. I just need to make covers for them to hide the cracks and blend with the camo paint job.

Re: Painting the cart?
Check withyou local budget auto painter. I gave the dude @ Maaco $75 cash and he shot mine. I romoved the panel and rough prep myself. another $20 in Rivets and I have a hard durable paint that looks way better than I trat it.
