1997 TXT motor and controller upgrade Help
Just got an Alltrax DCX500 controller and a D&D motor. The motor has a green, black, and red wire coming out the end. My stock motor does not. What are these wires for? It is a DCS cart.
Motor# 170-505-0001 The rest seems fairly easy, just not sure about these wires. Any help would be great! Hope I'm in right post |

Re: 1997 TXT motor and controller upgrade Help
According to the
Alltrax wiring diagram for DCS cartsthere is nothing connected to those wires. On the E-Z-Go DCS with DCX Wire Diagram its not even showing a connection on the motor on the ezgo wiring diagram. I "think" its a sensor for use with the stock controller. You might call D&D and ask them to be sure.Heres the PDF file. http://www.alltraxinc.com/files/Doc1...S-wire-dia.pdf |

Re: 1997 TXT motor and controller upgrade Help
Guess the wires don't do anything. Was told the same motor fits some Yamahas, so it must be for them. Controller and motor made a world of difference once I got the diode on the right way! Thanks Roady for the response!
