![]() hi guys i just put a set of lights on my golf cart front n back lights n when i drive with them on n i stop n go it pops the fuse on the golf cart , not the 1 with the lights , its a 10 amp, dose any1 know why that happens

![]() You have to do power and ground from the battery on these carts, the factory wiring will not support anything much maybe a relay to run something else. If the fuse still pops your ground is not good you have a bad connection/etc. Some lights have no ground wire if you bolt them to frame of cart, then you have to ground the frame to battery. Usually the fuse that blows is 10A for the entire ground of the cart, the frame is not ground on these grounds are all wires.

![]() I went through all that when I first put lights on my cart. Then other people I know have carts....."Hey can you look at this a sec....." Yeah, call me I'll fix it.....but I've always fixed stuff.

![]() You said you grounded to the battery, we normally change the main wire harness fuse to a 15 or 20 amp. Just a thought.
