Re: Rebuilding a '73
Pretty cool looking paint scheme! Turned out really nice. But you’re not supposed to tell people about the flaws, that’s something only you’re supposed to know! Lol

Re: Rebuilding a '73
The one in my avatar is one of the pictures I colored to try different designs. Thanks
True, but I'm still not taking in work. :) I have two motorcycle projects to complete next. |

Re: Rebuilding a '73
So it's been a rough few months for me personally, so I haven't made any progress. But I will be snow-birding in Florida soon and plan to bring the motor parts and whatever special tools, etc. that I will need to assemble it. That'll make it ready for installation and jumpstart the cart project when I get back in April.
When I said that I had a 1972 Sportster that I will make into a "Then Came Bronson" tribute bike, and I have a 1971 Sprint SS350 that will be a fun runaround bike. Since then I also bought a running 1972 FX1200 Boattail Superglide, that will just need cleaning up and the usual maintenance items. That is going to be my next project in parallel with the cart. |

All cool, the Superglide especially. If you ever are looking for info on the bikes, you might try hydra-glide.net forum, good bunch of knowledgeable harley guys on there.
