Default 2018 Drive2 stereo questions

Newer to owning a cart but am now in full blown upgrade mode. One of the first things I want to tackle is adding a stereo and would love to see what others have come up with.

I've got a ton of stuff laying around, JL Bluetooth head unit, amp, and a bunch of 6.5" and a few 7.7" speakers but haven't seen many good places to put the speakers.

Also do most just add a voltage regulator and pull power from the main battery bank or add an extra 12v and use it?

TIA

My cart had something like this already installed, but I really like that it is up and out of the way:

Well, I'm too new to post a link, but you can just search "(Insert your cart's model here) overhead console" and you should see the different kinds...

I would think either way for the batteries would be fine, but I personally had to rewire my electronics because previous owner was running the 12 volt circuit off two of the drive batteries causing unneeded drains....I went with a separate 12 volt system that is hooked into a solar panel to keep the battery charged...

mlb75. I have a member at Orange Tree that had taken down a factory overhead radio/speaker setup off of his Drive2 AC and wanted me to check out what was wrong. It needed a new radio, speakers are ok. It is in great shape (except bad radio) and I know he wants to get rid of it now instead of replacing the radio. Want me to check on it for you. I am here in Orlando, so close by you. Any of the typical Crutchfield single din JVC, Kenwood, etc bluetooth radios will fit and plug into existing harness, no wiring changes.

Ping, that may work. If you could shoot me a pic of what it looks like and what he'd want for it. I've got a head unit I intend to use that wouldn't fit it but may be able to repurpose that opening.

I'll check today if I can get a pic of it for you.
Got them. First one is front view with radio missing
2nd is top down view.
3rd is looking up at bottom of unit. Aluminum plate is part of original unit, I've no idea why it wasn't painted black??

OK I'm interested at least depending on what he'd want for it since it'll save me time building something myself. Is there a way to PM contact info?
