Default RoyPow battery tie down

Does anyone have a picture of how they are securing a RoyPow battery to a Precedent so it won’t move?

Mine came with a mounting bracket that bolts to the floor of the battery tray. I had to drill a few holes, bolt the bracket down, then bolt the battery pack to the bracket.

I notice you've got a shunt on your Roypow, which presumably goes with some type of energy monitor you are using. Are you finding that the RoyPow meter isn't accurate? Since it is wired into the BMS, it should be. I've found mine to be accurate, except for the fact that it slowly loses bars from sitting (if the RoyPow main pwr. switch is left "on", no drain if I turn it "off"), and the bars it loses from sitting are replenished by the charger faster than normal, so that is odd, but driving bar depletion is dead-on (meaning it always takes 28 minutes per bar to charge). So for example I can let it sit for 4 days starting with a complete 100% charge, w/out using it, but Roypow power switch is on, and it may lose 1 or 2 bars on the SOC meter during that time. But when I plug in the charger, it will finish it's charge in under 5 minutes, so that's how I know it is something with the logic in the BMS / SOC meter itself.
If I drove it far enough to take out those top 2 bars (about 10 miles in my use case), it would take right at 56 minutes to charge it back to 100%, and the charger to stop.

It should be minimal, but whatever energy monitor you have isn't able to measure the BMS itself's energy usage (or the SOC meter's), since it's not passing through the shunt. That seems to be the wildcard in the RoyPow setup for precise energy monitoring. I know what my controller draws idle, but there is no way to know the other constant slow drain on the battery from the BMS / SOC meter themselves.

I've just taken the approach of "it probably doesn't matter"

I already had the digital volt meter with my FLA batteries, and I installed the RoyPow SOC gauge next to it. The DVM is basically worthless now since the RP battery charge changes very little until it is almost exhausted. The RP meter seems to be very accurate. I haven't noticed it losing any bars from sitting as I use my cart at least twice a day so it never gets to sit very long.

Thanks. Do you bolt the battery down in 2 places? It looks pretty close to the edge so I'm not sure how you could tighten a bolt in place.

It is a little tight, but easily doable, especially if you have a long socket extension. Here are some pics that I downloaded from someone else's installation...

I guess that's a fuse then you have there on the Negative terminal then, not a shunt. Couldn't see it too well on my screen.
