Pros and Cons
Hi everyone, I’m new here and need your input. I’m in the market for a golf cart for mostly camping and recreational use. I will use it occasionally on my property with a small trailer. I don’t know if I should go gas or 48 volt. I live in Florida and would like an aluminum frame for the lighter weight and rust proof. I would like the cart to run a consistent 25-30 mph at top speed. If I go electric, I guess I will need a 48 volt Club Car with modifications.
48 Volt What year is best with all the different technology? (Sepex or IQ) I don’t understand it. I’ve read about Plum Quick and I like what I see but, I can see the cost going up quick with all the modifications and the possibility of going with Lithium Batteries. Gas What year would I need to be looking at for EFI? Let me know what you all think of which way I should go. Thanks for your input. |
