Does the cart do its start up check? You should.hear the solenoid click then the motor brake.

Try pulling back on the pedals. If the pedals arent fully returned then the cart wont move. When you press the brake pedal all the way down do you hear a click from the motor brake?

Re: Thought was motor brake!!!!!
Turn KS on and complete the startup sequence. Then check voltage on load side of the solenoid going to controller. If voltage is lower than battery voltage, replace the solenoid. At the club, the last three fleets of carts have all been RXV. 99% of all problems I have found over the last few years were all solenoids. That is the first thing I check and rarely ever need to do anything other than replace the solenoid.
If you have Danaher controller, this is solenoid needed. https://www.amazon.com/Dr-Accessorie...%2C195&sr=8-13 If it is Curtis controller, you need this one, both are 36V https://www.amazon.com/RHOX-EZGO-Gol...s%2C195&sr=8-5 |

Re: Thought was motor brake!!!!!
wrazlin did you find the issue?
my '14 RXV just grinded to a halt this past weekend. The battery array is sitting at 50.9v. I disconnected the solenoid and the resistance is 102. When I turn the key on, I hear two clicks. Also, when I press the brake petal, I hear a click. but no acceleration in R or F. I'm at a loss at this point. |

Re: Thought was motor brake!!!!!
Put run /tow switch to tow....see if you can move the cart by pushing...if not wiggle the electric plug connecting to the brake....I had the same problem ...heard all the clicks...but the plug was not connecting...you might have heard the brake coming off as you say..but the vibration could have disconnected the contacts of the plug....I removed the plug..pushed the contacts on the plug in a little ....no more problems for months now
