Robin eh29c camshaft
I have a 2000 ezgo txt with the robin eh29c motor. I snapped a piston connecting rod. Upon inspection i noticed the end of the camshaft has a groove in it and a very slight "play" on that end of the head
Is this groove something i should be concerned with? I thought about having the shaft milled and having a bushing put into the head to get a tighter fit. The slop is about 1mm. Any thoughts would be appreciated. |

That’s pretty bad I’d check the head too and make sure it didn’t wipe that out too

Re: Robin eh29c camshaft
I'd say it's a pretty safe bet the cam and head are both toast. Sorry.
Time to replace both if you plan to rebuild, oil pressure is going to be a problem if you dont. Either that or it's time for a vegas cart 460. With the damage I see there, and with the difficulty of finding parts for these motors anymore, youd be at about a wash price wise. |
