It was raining in the early afternoon here.Stopped raining and the sun peeked out. So I took Suzi out for an extended blast. There is just something about her raw excessive power. She is not real civilized but wow Great Fun. Sure glad I kept her and gave her a heart transplant with the 440 cc snowmobile engine. Morale of the story here , before you toss a cart away or totally part it out, think about what kind of second life you can give it.

Ya' know? it's truly amazing that some people would just want to "toss" an old cart away...
Then are are people like you/us that actually see (and know) what can be done with them!

I've had more people ask me, "WHY would you spent that much time and money on your cart?"
With me? it's always a simple reply... with a grin I say, "Because... I CAN!"

I only some of Suzi's earlier life. Somewhere in the 2005 range a tree nursery used Suzi as transportation around the business. One day he found employees had built some sort of ramp and were doing Evel knevil jumps with her. He sold her off to another islander in 2008 who drove her many many miles every day of the useable year.He put in several sets of pistons, had her rebored at one point and had one cooling fan blow apart at which point the whole bottom end was redone by an old harley mechanic. Suzi was then in the Sandy flood of 2012 where the engine was filled with water. I helped flush her engine out after that and we started her.She then sat in the previous owners garage until this last summer when I bought her and drove her to my house. Every cart has a story and that is a much a I have of hers.

I see I had not run Suzi since 4/17. Took her on the post office run today and see fired right up even with being outside in all the rain we have been getting. She is certainly a survivor and great fun.

Took Suzi to the post office today. I would guess the strawberry flies don't like her 50:1 ratio gas/oil exhaust.

Add a little "citronella" to the oil - turn the pump up a bit to get it to smoke a little and there won't be a flying insect in the neighborhood. Back in the 70's I lived in Orlando Fla and they would run mosquito trucks that had a big fogger on the back and they would operate at like 3-4 am while no one was outside.

Not using the pump just 50:1 premix with some Startron for good measure. I remember a couple of campgrounds with the bug trucks. They used to do something like that here on the island. Ironically I was worried about the 50:1 with smoke but none showing that I can see.
