Default vc 440 oil weight?

What weight of oil and how much oil should be run in the vc 440 clone?

I'd just treat it like your car.

Run straight 30 in the summer, better protection for hot temps.

Run 0w30 in the winter (if you have cold winters), better protection at startup.

Run 5w30 all year if you have a good mix.

Change oil often. Synthetic if you can afford it, but if you change it often there's prob no need.

I would stick with synthetic after a break-in period,especially if you plan on alot of high rpm running,since they are splash-lube.
