Here the body is primed and ready for body work. We installed the carbon dash on the frame and also got the controller panel and OBC mounted.

The customer contacted us today and is now wavering on the custom upholstery we special ordered in from Mississippi, also now thinking of a new paint color, and wanted to know if we can do away with the key and just have a perimeter activation for the ignition.

We decided that this was getting to be enough, especially with the Precedent being more then half done and then switching to the DS and now starting to make these last minute changes.

After selling our large manufacturing companies, the custom golf cart company was meant to be a company in which we built our own carts and then sold to our customers. It was meant to be an enjoyable small business, where we could build awesome machines, with no stress or pressure! This cart build has been anything but. So we had a meeting with our customer and explained to them that it would be best if we stopped building this cart for them, we explained to them why we started building carts and refunded them their deposit. Although they were disappointed, we felt we made the correct choice and now we can complete this cart as we want to and then put it for sale.

In business it's always a hard balance to keep the customer happy but also stay true to yourself as a company. In the end it is our name on the product and we want to be proud of what we put out. So although a tough decision had to be made we felt it was the correct decision.

We now will carry on completing this cart the way we believe it should be completed and will be able to stand behind the product and be proud of it!

Stay tuned as we carry on with this build.

So now that we get to carry on building this cart the way we want we have made few changes. We laid down a bright silver metallic paint. We then masked off the top portion using the body line as a natural break.

Next we laid down our tangerine metallic for the two tone paint color. When then pulled off the mask to get a look at how the colors look together!

We then laid down the clear nice and wet to give it that deep shine! Next we will run some pin stripes and get it ready to be installed on the cart.
