PCX957 Pot. meter wiring
I have a PCX957 that didn't have a potentiometer in it when i got it. I bought a new meter and it has two sets of blue and brown wires coming out of it. The cart has a black, white, and orange going to the back of the cart and one open orange going to the front of the cart. I also have a blue with a spade and a yellow with a eyelet coming of the micro switch. Can anybody help me wire this. The potentiometer is a metal box with a lever and ball on the side of it. I know how to mount it but need to wire it. Thank You.

Re: PCX957 Pot. meter wiring
You bought the PB-16 meter instead of the PB-6. It will work , so don't sweat it.
There should be a long pair and a short pair of blue/brown wires. coil up the long pair and zip tie them out of the way. Take the short pair and connect the Brown to the Black and the blue to the white. Ignore the Orange. The blue with the spade and the yellow with the eyelet should connect to the 2 outside terminals of the micro on that PB-16. That's all it takes.... Happy Carting. |
