How and where to install a receiver style Trailer hitch on a 89 marathon

I want to install a receiver type hitch to my 89 36v marathon
How would you folks install the hitch?
We now have a mig and arc welder available

I have the Plastic floor in the bottom of the bag Rack

PS we ran the cart all day on Sunday and the Power gauge hardly moved- The charger turned off before we locked up the barn- This is a very good thing? Right?

i just bought a bumper mounted one and welded it on, i pulled some heavy loads with the old girl.

did you weld something like a 2x2 or 3x3 angle iron to the bumper area and then weld the bumper hitch to the angle iron?

I welded one on mine as well, works great!

the hitch plate is 1/4" and about 8" long and i just welded to the cross bar, it may not been the ideal way! but its been like that for 10yrs and i do over load it.
this tank trailer weights 2,400lbs and pulls it with no bending or twisting!
