Default Downhill speed limiter on Yamaha Drive2 Quietech

We are hoping to purchase a fleet of Yamaha Drive2 Quietech EFI for a course with steep grades in VT. We love the cart, the only issue is the freewheeling downhill speed on some of our steep grades. All of the mechanics/techs that I have spoken with say there is no way to slow this down. I find this hard to believe. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

The only fix, buy electric. There are no "automatic brakes" on gas cars.

Yes, on the Japanese ones; they even accelerate, turn, etc... drive by themselves in fact! *smile

Well, yes, I know that to be true. But, you won't find any of those features on a North American market Yamaha (yet). And I wouldn't want to try to retrofit those features on our models.

For sure, you would even first remove all this stuff instead!
